Safety messages
Our company policy includes pre – employment and annual safety trainings for our drivers. Also, all of our new drivers are skill tested to verify they can operate the truck in a safe manner.
- Perform Safety Inspection for truck brakes and tires. Also, inspect the load to be perfectly balanced and securely placed in the right place
- Drive defensively to enhance the chances of safety for you and others on the road, while meeting unfocused drivers, sudden road accidents and drivers who have less experience
- Use 3 points of your body when driving. These 3 points are your 2 hands and 1 foot or 2 feet and 1 hand. Always keep these points in contact with the equipment to drive safely
- Stop distracted driving due to tech gadgets such as mobile devices and other electronic devices. Texting is a common driving distraction that results in crashes, severe accidents and deadly incidents
- Leave sufficient space for safe stopping by assuring that you have 7 to 10 seconds to stop your truck. Utilize signal and brake for safe stopping
- Ensure School and Work Zone Safety as more than 10% truck crushes occurred in working zone. Sudden stops, lane shifts, confused vehicles, moving workers and many hazardous things can hamper your regular driving
- Follow Road Safety Laws. Generally, the speed limit is 62 mph and you should not travel more than the mentioned speed. Each state comes with local laws and a truck driver should obey them properly for road safety
- Keep the headlights clear to ensure safe driving at night
- Wear Seatbelts. Every year, about 40% of injuries occur due to driving trucks without wearing seatbelts
